I've had bridge cameras in the past that are a lot less customisable in terms of settings than this camera. That usually means the photo quality is sometimes not the best. With this the customisation is brilliant, however figuring it all out may take a little bit of time. I've had loads of dud photos because anyone with a pet knows they don't tend to stay still but I've still managed some great photos.

The Sony Alpha ZV-E10 is a wonderful camera and beginner-friendly enough overall, I bought mine just before Christmas. There may be many settings you won't use for a while until you learn them, but this camera gives you the opportunity to do just that (more than 6 months later, I'm still learning). It is perfect for pictures and vlogging alike, and you can fairly easily navigate the basic settings. I'd recommend looking more into this camera as there are just so many features, and to also make sure you buy enough storage beforehand, and perhaps extra battery packs too.

I got it mainly for YouTube videos, but I found that it is also great for taking photos (especially in RAW format). In videos it holds the lack of light very well, in photos probably up to 3200 ISO there is no noticeable noise. The battery is lasting over two hours by keeping the screen constantly on between photos and videos. However, once the camera is connected via cable to the PC for live shots, the part in direct contact with the battery tends to overheat (probably because it charges slowly in the meantime). The built-in microphone is only good for ambient sounds (as it picks up any noise). Very light and easy to carry around, only take the lens included in the kit if you don't have any others.

Powerful camera and where they've placed the battery and SD card slot just makes sense compared to my previous canon powershot g7x mark 2. I don't need to remove it from the tripod when changing things out.

Love how compact it is, very light yet sturdy, feel nice in hand, the lens come with it is very versatile, just perfect for vlogging, taking portraits photos and everyday use for objects and outdoor scenery. I got this specifically to make videos using the Product Showcase mode. And that mode works just great - it's like magic. I'm pretty impressed with just how good the video quality is, as well as the ease of use. I don't really use it for photographs so I can't comment on that, but for video it's great - I often use it in preference to my Sony A7iV because it's so much easier, especially for product videos.

Been using the Sony ZV-E10 for the past 6 months. Taken it abroad for travel, shot a few YouTube videos. This camera has almost everything you need to get started with videography, photography and content creation. If you are looking for a small, affordable, compact camera, with interchangeable lenses, then this is it. Especially if you are coming from a RX100 series and wanted a bit more from the RX100. I have the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 lens and it takes great photos and videos. Not as small and pocketable than the RX100, but it has its pros.
